Settling into his new home: Rico another pug looking for a new home age 9 years. Awaiting vet reports on full health check but he has the usual pug breathing problems. Given in by his very upset owner and her children as their landlord of their accommodation had sadly passed away and the property was being sold. No pets policy of rented property means they had to give up this much loved pet at an age when he should allowed to stay with his owners.Rico has now re-started his vaccine course and is also due for micro-chipping etc. He seems to have found a new lease of life and can get through the gate faster than the staff, his is a great little fellow full of fun. He would best be suited to an older person/s who have a garden fully fenced for him to play with and even a little friend to play with, he is good with children but would be unable to go for walks or get to over excited because of his breathing. We do not feel this is in any way a condition that can be operated on at this late age, but it is defiantly not stopping him playing, he just sound a little like he on star wars.
